| Staking a claim in the Oklahoma land run was only |
the beginning in the Allee family mission, |
| The A – Cross Ranch continues to be deeply rooted |
in innovation and tradition, |
| From the rolling hills of blue stem |
waving in the wind, |
| To the fields of wheat in the rich soil |
near a Washita River bend, |
| A windmill creaks gently as it pumps water |
with the rhythm of the wind, |
| We are thankful for the blessing of our land and |
our respect for the land will never end, |
| A very sentimental pasture of Hereford cattle |
keeps the traditions of our father Bob Allee, |
| We want to be the best and our combination |
of tradition and innovation is the key, |
| The present and the future of |
A – Cross is in the Angus breed, |
| The Angus breed has the maternal and carcass |
characteristics that modern cattleman need, |
| We strive to breed genetics that produce the |
quality of cattle our industry needs, |
| From quality bulls for commercial producers, to a |
steer that produces CAB for the label a consumer reads, |
| We may use some of the best technology available, but we also |
want to keep our ranching traditions alive, |
| In the morning we may be dragging calves to the fire |
horseback, and transferring embryos by five, |
| While lots of things have changed, our traditions have stayed |
the same since the Allee Family staked their claim, |
| We embrace the changes needed to produce what the consumer and |
producer demand and that will always be our aim. |
